Welcome to Intelliprompter, a macOS application developed by Tayzoware ("we", "us", or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and how it is safeguarded when you use our software and related services.

1. Core Privacy Principle: Local-First Processing

Intelliprompter is built with a "local-first" philosophy. We believe that your scripts, your voice, and your video presence are your property. We do not sell your personal data, nor do we run analytics tracking tools within the macOS application to harvest your digital workflow routines.

2. System Permissions & Hardware Access

To function correctly, Intelliprompter requires specific permissions from macOS. We access these APIs strictly to provide functionality within the app:

• Microphone Access: Used exclusively for real-time speech-to-text (STT) tracking so the teleprompter can scroll alongside your voice. Audio data is streamed locally or processed in real-time. It is never permanently recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers by the core app.
• Screen Recording / Screen Capture Access: Used exclusively for our "Remote Surface" feature and visual analysis overlays. The application captures your screen only when you actively trigger a feature requiring it, and the data is kept locally on your machine or transmitted temporarily via WebRTC to your designated remote display devices.

3. Artificial Intelligence & Third-Party APIs

Intelliprompter features intelligent tools powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). When you utilize features requiring AI (e.g., generating scripts, extracting style presets), data is routed as follows:

• Data Transmission: Prompts, context, and selected transcripts are routed securely through the Tayzoware Proxy to leading AI providers (including but not limited to OpenAI, Cerebras, and Google Gemini).
• No Training Rule: By contractual agreement with our Enterprise API providers, the data routed through our proxy is not used to train their foundational models. Once your request is fulfilled, the prompt is discarded.

4. YouTube & Google Integrations

Intelliprompter provides a "Content Creator" feature that analyzes your past YouTube content to learn your unique speaking style. When you connect your Google/YouTube account:

• Read-Only Access: We request youtube.readonly permissions. We cannot upload videos or modify your channel.
• Data Processed: We retrieve your Channel IDs, video metadata, and auto-generated transcripts. This data is passed strictly to the AI parsing engine to construct your "Style Presets."
• Revocation: You may revoke Intelliprompter's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Security settings. Tayzoware does not permanently archive your Google channel data.

5. Account & Subscription Data

When you purchase Intelliprompter Pro:

• Apple StoreKit: Transactions are handled securely by Apple via the Mac App Store. Tayzoware does not collect or store your credit card information. We receive an anonymous, cryptographically signed receipt from Apple to verify your subscription status.
• Device Identifiers: We derive a non-reversible hash of your hardware ID to enforce license limits and provide offline grace periods. This identifier cannot be used by Tayzoware to identify you personally.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features (like mobile companions or cloud sync capabilities). We will notify active users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy and, if applicable, via release notes in the macOS App Store.
